Environmental Policy

Alcohols Ltd is a chemical distributor supplying a wide range of solvents, chemicals and solvent blends. It also manufactures and supplies gin and other potable spirits. Alcohols Ltd, as part of the local community, takes its environmental responsibilities very seriously. It is committed to minimising any disturbances to the local and global environment including the quality of life of such communities in which the company operates.

Alcohols Ltd is committed to: -

1.	Operating a system of continual improvement in all areas of environmental impact. This is to be achieved by the setting and reviewing of objectives and targets.
2.	Safeguarding against pollution by effective and responsible storage, containment and distribution of the chemicals, solvents, alcoholic products and fuels that are under its control.
3.	Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Where no regulations exist Alcohols Ltd shall set standards in line with industry best practice and comply with them.
4.	Integrating environmental considerations and objectives into relevant business operations and decisions.
5.	Ensuring that all staff receive the necessary instruction and training thus enabling them to fully understand and positively contribute to the effective operation of the environmental management system.
6.	Making available this policy and the company’s environmental performance to all staff as well as other interested external parties.
