DEB

Denatured Ethanol B

Usually Expressed with a percentage purity.  Customs and Excise approved grade for cosmetic and pharmaceutical uses.

IMS

Industrial Methylated Spirits

Usually expressed with a percentage purity.  Customs and Excise approved material.  Has a variety of uses ranging from printing to hospital uses.

MMS

Mineralised Methylated Spirits

Contains a purple dye and is used as fuels for domestic applications such as barbeques, lamps and lighters.

HGNS

High Grade Neutral Spirits

This material is derived either from molasses or grain.  It is used extensively in the food and drinks industries.

Organic Alcohol

This material is produced from maize or rye giving a neutral grain spirit suitable for both potable and industrial applications.

TSDA 2

Trade Specific Denatured Alcohol

A specific grade of alcohol denatured for the print industry which has unique evaporation times.

DRS

Doubly Rectified Spirit

95 -96% Synthetic Alcohol.

DRAA Double Rectified Absolute Alcohol

100% Synthetic Alcohol.

Alcohols Ltd blend and denature all of the above grades of alcohol at our own methylating house based at Tottenham.  Bonded materials such as HGNS, Gin concentrate and Organic Alcohol are stored at our own distillery at Langley, West Midlands.
